The ESAIC hosts the Euroanaesthesia and Focus Meeting congresses that serve as platforms for cutting-edge science and innovation in the field. ESAIC Taskforce: Collaboration between anaesthesiologists and nurse anaesthetists in Europe

ESAIC has launched a task force to discuss the European situation of the workforce in Anaesthesia and different working models on a national level. This major problem is expected to increase even more during the next years and requires our attention. Moreover, our position is also needed to discuss the current situation with other shareholders in the field.

The aim of the workforce will be to create an ESAIC position how we can guarantee safe perioperative medicine and define some general principles for collaboration and teamwork in anesthesiology.

The task force is being led by Else-Marie Ringvold, General Secretary of ESAIC and has been endorsed by the EASIC Board.
