EuCPSP PAIN-OUT is a supplementary study to PAIN-OUT International.
PAINOUT International is an EC-funded research project that aims at improving postoperative
pain treatment outcomes by use of a toolkit consisting of 3 primary tools:
- a benchmark module that feeds back outcomes
- a clinical decision support system
- an electronic knowledge library
EuCPSP PAIN-OUT objectives are:
- A pilot European study on CPSP Cronic PostSurgical Pain
- 11 surgeries: – Thoracotomy, breast surgery, IHR, hysterectomy, colectomy, appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, THA, TKA, LL amputation, sternotomy
- PAINT OUT questionnaire at D1
- Follow up at 6 and 12 months: DN4 and BPI
- Patient collect data on a website+ mail to remind patients
- 8 languages available for both phases:
- German, French, English, Italian, Spanish, Romanian, Dutch, Ukrainian
