Event Details

The Train The Trainer course Part II will be a one week long face to face course where you will have the opportunity to engage in educational sessions, activities and tasks that will help you further improve your teaching skills.

 

The topics to be covered are wide and diverse:
Interactive & Practical Approach – The inclusion of gamification, buzz groups and structured teaching experiences (OSTE) with an engaging learning environment.
Comprehensive Coverage – The course covers essential teaching aspects, including lesson planning, student assessment, workplace-based training and mentorship as a learning relationship.
Focus on Modern Teaching Methods – Topics such as online teaching design, learning theory indicate an emphasis on contemporary educational strategies.
Development of Both Technical & Non-Technical Skills – It ensures a balanced approach by addressing both technical (OSCEs, EMQ) and non- technical skills (mentoring, debriefing, feedback, managing struggling students and teachers.

 

The main learning objectives are:
1. consolidated the learning from the online course
2. acquired further skills in learning conversations and reflective practice
3. practicing and improving the skill of giving feedback
4. acquired knowledge and skills relating to the management of failing Trainees and failing Trainers
5. gained a deeper understanding of the neurophysiology of learning and memory
6. developed organisation skills related to assessment and running of educational programmes
7. utilizing new approaches such as gamification (e.g. using escape room as a teaching method)

Registrations for this Course are restricted ONLY to participants of this year’s TTT Part I edition.
