ESAIC Membership Benefits
Membership Types
Active Members*
Being a physician who has completed an accredited anaesthesiology training programme, who is certified to practice anaesthesiology who is legally licensed to practice medicine, and working in a European country.
Trainee Members*
Being a physician in training with a certified anaesthesiology program accredited by a national governmental body and being trained or employed in an anaesthesiology department in a European country.
Affiliate Members*
A physician who meets any of the following criteria: a certified physician practising anaesthesiology exclusively in one or more countries outside of Europe, a certified physician not engaged in the clinical practice of anaesthesiology, or a scientist or professional not involved in the clinical practice of anaesthesiology but with an interest in the field of anaesthesiology.
Allied Members*
Medical students, Non-Physician Registered Health Professionals (NPRHP) and Retired Doctors are regrouped under the category “Allied Member”.
Individual Society members
Each member of the European National Society of Anaesthesiologists shall become an ESAIC Individual Society Member by accepting the ESAIC Individual Society Membership offered through their National or Specialist Society.
*Memberships can be bought for 2 years as well as 1. Note: Membership always begins on 01 January and ends on 31 December, irrespective of when the membership is purchased during the year.
