Industry Symposia at EA24 - Day 1 

Day 1 Saturday, 25 May

At Euroanaesthesia 2024, attendees will have the opportunity to engage deeply with advanced topics through a range of industry-led symposia. On The first day, Edwards Lifesciences will highlight the intersection of AI and clinical practice, particularly in enhancing fluid management strategies to improve patient outcomes during surgery. Fisher & Paykel’s discussion on high-flow nasal oxygen (HFNO) will offer insights into its safety benefits and application in anaesthesia, promising a reduction in complications and improved patient recovery times. Fresenius Kabi will tackle the crucial topics of environmental sustainability in healthcare settings and the ever-important antimicrobial stewardship, providing a roadmap from theory to actionable practices.  

Octapharma’s session on navigating coagulation challenges will illuminate the intricacies of blood management in major surgeries, which is crucial for reducing postoperative complications. Paion & Viatris will discuss the latest developments in shock management, particularly focusing on the clinical use of Angiotensin II as a novel treatment approach. Solventum will emphasise the importance of guideline-based clinical practice to optimise patient journeys, stressing the role of consensus in enhancing care protocols. 

Each presentation at the Euroanaesthesia 2024 Industry Programme is meticulously designed to equip attendees with practical solutions and strategic insights that can be directly applied to enhance their clinical practices.
