The ESAIC hosts the Euroanaesthesia and Focus Meeting congresses that serve as platforms for cutting-edge science and innovation in the field. At Euroanaesthesia 2024, the second day promises a deep dive into critical advancements in anaesthesiology and perioperative medicine through a series of thought-provoking industry-led symposia. Cardinal Health will kick off the day with a comprehensive workshop on mechanical thromboprophylaxis, discussing its timing, methods, and underlying rationale to enhance patient safety and outcomes.

Baxter’s symposium will present the latest evidence on inhaled anaesthetics, exploring their efficacy and benefits in modern clinical practice. CSL will follow with a session on implementing patient blood management strategies, focusing on practical approaches to improve patient care and resource utilisation in clinical settings.

Masimo’s symposium will delve into the nuances of oxygen delivery versus blood pressure management, examining their roles in protecting vital organs during surgery. Passion & Viatris will highlight the use of Remimazolam to enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes, offering insights into its application in anaesthetic practice.

Finally, Philips will close the day by exploring optimising cardiac output and blood flow during surgery, presenting innovative techniques to improve surgical outcomes and patient recovery.
